Lula Mae Hutchison, 84, a resident of Malden, the daughter of the late Jesse David Blanton and Addie Pipkins Blanton, was born July 10, 1920, at Malden and died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at Malden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

On Jan. 31, 1940, she was united in marriage to Perry Hutchison at Piggott, Ark., and he preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1994.

Other survivors include one daughter, Norma Jean Henderson of Bernie; two brothers, Ronnie Blanton of Granite City, Ill., and Robert Blanton of Dupo, Ill.; one sister, Shirley Burtch of Sterling, Minn.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Blanton, Charles Blanton, and John Blanton; and two sisters, Aleane Fowler and Waunita Reaves.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden with Rev. O.H. Brooks officiating.

Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
