Mrs. Montgomery had lived in Puxico since 1970 and had previously lived in Qulin and Poplar Bluff. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Puxico.
In 1983, she was married to Cowan Montgomery, and he preceded her in death in 1986.
Surviving are three sons, Fred C. Dirickson of Puxico, Donald R. Dirickson of Bristol, Tenn., and Calvin W. Dirickson of N. Miami, Fla.; one daughter, Norma J. Parkin of Poplar Bluff; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Vivian McIntosh of Arkadelphia, Ark.
She was preceded in death by one grandson.
Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with Bro. Terry Stockman of Sikeston officiating.
Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Services of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
