Mary McDannel

Mary McDannel, daughter of the late Thomas and Neva Frances Ray, was born in Essex on June 23, 1924, and died at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at the age of 80.

Mrs. McDannel was raised in the Essex community, had lived in Marion, Ill., for several years before moving to Poplar Bluff. She moved to Dexter in 1995. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving is one daughter, Susie Reynolds of New Mexico.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at 11 a.m. in the Dexter Cemetery with Rev. Roy Sherfield of Dexter officiating.

Interment followed in the Dexter Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
