Vivian Louise Kincade of Bethalto, Ill., died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at the age of 79. She was born April 16, 1925, in Dexter to the late Crat and Nellie (Metcalf) Brown.

She married Melford R. "Bub" Kincade on June 21, 1947, in Piggott, Ark., and he preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 2003.

She was a member of the Bethalto Church of God.

She is survived by one son, Dennis Kincade; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter, all of Bethalto, Ill.; and one sister, Jonell Nickless of Cottage Hills.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Nelson and Pat Crull; and one brother, Elroe Brown.

Visitation was held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at Bethalto Church of God.

Funeral service was conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at Bethalto Church of God with Rev. Jesse Wiggins officiating.

Private burial was at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
