He retired after working 30 years as an assembler for the Chrysler Corp. in St. Louis. He was a 1965 graduate of Bell City High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War.
On Jan. 4, 1971, he and Karen Merick were united in marriage at St. Charles, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include his mother, Clarisa Lancaster of Randles; a daughter, Melissa Lancaster of Bloomfield; three brothers, Robert L. Lancaster of Overland, Wesley Lancaster of Villa Ridge, and Allan Lancaster of Sikeston; and one grandson, Johnny McMichael of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Debbie; and two brothers, Larry and Dennis Lancaster.
Visitation will be held from 4:30-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with Rev. Jack Owens officiating and assisted by Rev. Bob Murray.
Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins.
