Melba Thurston, 85, formerly of Bernie, died at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with funeral services following at 2 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter.
