Ada Joiner, daughter of the late John Foley and Mary Grace Foley, was born on Jan. 12, 1932 at Liverpool, England, and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Sept. 3, 2004 at the age of 72.

Mrs. Joiner was a member of the Southwest Church of the Nazarene of Dexter and a homemaker.

She was united in marriage to Glenn W. Joiner on April 17, 1954 at Liverpool, England. Mr. Joiner preceded her in death on June 17, 1997.

She is survived by three sons, John Joiner of St. Roberts, Mo., David Joiner of Ellsinore, and Troy Joiner of Alamogordo, New Mexico.; and by nine grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tina Ann Joiner; and by one sister, Mary Elizabeth Minton.

Visitation was held on Monday, Sept. 6 at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter and funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004 at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Stoner officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
