James Earnest Hutchison, son of the late Hubert and Deortha Harris Hutchison was born at Bloomfield on October 18, 1931 and died at his home in Jasper, Ala., on September 9, 2004 at the age of 72.

Mr. Hutchison was a graduate of Bloomfield High School, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean War and was employed at Son's Supermarket in Jasper for 28 years.

Survivors include his wife Kathern Hutchison of the home in Jasper, Ala., two sons, Jimmy Hutchison, of Meridian, Miss., and H.L. Hutchison of Jasper, Ala.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Durham, of Bloomfield; two brothers, Judson Hutchison and Lonnie Hutchison, both of Bloomfield. Other relatives and many friends survive to mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper, Ala. Burial will follow in the Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper, Ala..
