Lillian Inez Kelley

Lillian Kelley, daughter of the late Grover C. Terry and Ida Milan Terry, was born on Feb. 17, 1914, at Brockett, Ark., and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at the age of 90.

Mrs. Kelley was a licensed practical nurse at Brandon and Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff for 34 years, a member of the Church of Christ in Stokes, Ark., and a resident of Dexter for the past six years.

On Feb. 4, 1933, she was united in marriage to Charles Porter Sells at Pocahontas, Ark. Mr. Sells preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1952. She was then united in marriage to Buddle Kelley on July 29, 1975, in Piggott, Ark. Mr. Kelley preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 1989.

Survivors include two sons, Harold E. Sells of Fredericktown and Willie "Bill" Sells of Naylor; one daughter, Doris Jordan of Dexter; one sister, Emma Lynch of Flint, Mich.; also by12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Thornton; two brothers, Claude and Zaniel Terry; and one sister, Alma Thaxton.

Visitation was held from 9 until 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

A graveside service was conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, in the Brockett Cemetery at Brockett, Ark., with Dale Grissom officiating.

Interment immediately followed the graveside service.
