Rudella Katherine Roslen

Rudella Katherine Roslen, daughter of the late Jack and Lorene Griffie Grimes, was born in Morehouse on Jan. 3, 1941, and died at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau on Oct. 3, 2004, at the age of 63.

She had lived in the Morehouse and Sikeston communities all her life. She was a member of the Scott County Historical Society.

On Nov. 9, 1959, she was married to Charley Lee Roslen in Bloomfield.

Surviving are her husband, Charley Lee Roslen of Sikeston; two daughters, Jackie Sloan of Piedmont and Lisa Cook of Sikeston; three sons, Tom Roslen of Morley, Kevin Roslen and Dale Roslen, all of Sikeston; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Gene Roslen of Sikeston; and one sister, Lois Lutes of Morehouse.

She was preceded in death by two great-granddaughters.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Morehouse with the Rev. Scott Sutton of Sikeston officiating.

Interment will follow in the New Morley Cemetery in Morley with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Morehouse in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Southeast Missouri Hospital Cancer Center, 1701 Lacey Street, or Southeast Missouri Hospice, 760 S. Kingshighway, Ste. C, both in Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63701.
