Jimmie Jones of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at his residence.
He was a retired meat cutter and a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church.
On May 27, 1966, he was united in marriage to Shirley Burton in Paris.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Jones of Paris; three daughters, Diana Eaker, Crystal Smith and Melinda Jones all of Paris, Tenn.; two brothers, C.M. Jones and John Jones, both of Dexter;seven sisters, Jerry Davis and Barbara Coleman, both of Dexter, Jeanette McAnulty of Munford, Tenn., Peggy Carson of St. Louis, Marty Palmer of Lecanto, Fla., Anita Baldwin of Knobnoster and Doris Sacca of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Fleta Waldrup Jones.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, and after 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris, Tenn.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris, Tenn.
Interment followed in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
