Bobby Wayne Stanley, son of Cleo Stanley and Charity Geneva Jones Stanley, was born July 12, 1942, at Malden and died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at his residence in Essex.

On May 30, 1997, he was married to Dee Delk at Piggott, Ark.

He was an electrician and had been a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy from 1960.

Survivors include his wife, Dee Stanley of Essex; three sons, Jacob Waters of Essex, Michael Waters of Orlando, Fla., and Robert Stanley; one daughter, Angie Spence of Dexter; four grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry Stanley of Cherokee Village, Ark., Tommy Stanley of Sikeston, and Keith Stanley of Qulin; and five sisters, Mariea Ellsworth, Sandy Corn, and Gina Santie, all of Malden, Sue Gaines of Bernie, and Sharon Tackett of Gideon.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.

Interment will follow in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with military rites.
