Mary Haney
Mary Alice Haney, daughter of the late Harley Jennings and Norma Dowdy Jennings, was born Aug. 26, 1940, at Pyletown and died in the St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at the age of 64.

Mrs. Haney was a former employee of Paramount Hat Manufacturing Company in Dexter and a resident of rural Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Joe Haney on May 29, 1959, at Dexter. Mr. Haney survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Timmy Haney of Dexter and Ronnie Haney and his wife Georgia of Dexter; one daughter, Lori Massey and her husband Mike of Parker, Kan.; two brothers, Marvin Jennings and Harlin Jennings, both of Waterford, Mich.; one sister, Doris Helms of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; four grandchildren, Kayse Bond of Dexter, Josh Worley of St. Louis, Melissa Howard of Olathe, Kan., and Sara Johnson of La Cygne, Kan.; and one great-granddaughter, McKayla.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Haney officiating.

Interment followed in the Dexter Cemetery.
