Eva Geneva Boyle, daughter of the late Matthew T. Hunsperger and Pearl Elizabeth Driver Hunsperger was born on March 29, 1919 at Koshkonong and died in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff on October 22, 2004 at the age of 85.

Mrs. Boyle was a homemaker, a member of the Bernie Northside Baptist Church and was a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Gordon Boyle on January 31, 1939 at Bernie. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1974.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Kean, of Bernie and Sharon Daniels, of Parma; by two brothers, Frank Hunsperger and Bill Hunsperger, both of Dexter; by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Jackie Wayne Boyle and Carmen Gayle Boyle; by six brothers, George Hunsperger, James Hunsperger, Melvin Hunsperger, Curtis Hunsperger, Irvin Hunsperger and Calvin Hunsperger; by one sister, Maxine Jarvis.

Visitation was at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2004. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 24 with Rev. O.H. Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
