James Edwin Routsaw, the son of the late James and Arminta Fletcher Routsaw, was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., on Dec. 25, 1921, and died at his home near Dudley on Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at the age of 82.

Mr. Routsaw had resided in Dudley since 1991. He was a former resident of Michigan and was a member of the Catholic Church.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews in Michigan.

Visitation will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, in the Caroline Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter with the Rev. Danny Collins of Qulin officiating.

Interment will follow in the Caroline Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
