William Scott Arthur, 28, son of Charles W. Arthur and Freda Robbins McAnally, was born at Dexter on Oct. 14, 1976, and died at his home in rural Essex on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004.

Mr. Arthur spent most of his life in the Essex Community and attended Richland Schools. He was employed several years at Hampton Farms.

Survivors include his father, Bill Arthur of Essex; his mother, Freda McAnally of Bloomfield; three sons, Kaleb, Tyler and Dillon Arthur, all of Bloomfield; and one sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Dayo of Nashville, Tenn.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. David Hardin officiating.

Interment followed in the Bluff Cemetery at Idalia.
