Clara Pullum, daughter of the late Alva "Stubby" Walker and Lacy Hill Walker, was born Dec. 4, 1933, at Bernie and died in the Fountainbleau Lodge at Cape Girardeau on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at the age of 70.
Mrs. Pullum was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Dexter, a homemaker, and a former resident of Dexter currently residing at Cape Girardeau.
She was united in marriage to Junior Pullum on May 20, 1951, at Clay County, Ark. Mr. Pullum preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1992.
Survivors include two daughters, Belinda Flynn of Cape Girardeau and Teresa Powell of Houston, Texas; three sons, Robert Pullum of Columbia, Tenn., Jay Pullum of Sikeston and Jack Pullum of Dexter; one brother, David Walker of Dexter; four sisters, June Hester of Branson, Joyce Mills of McKinney, Texas, Mabel Snider and Judy Crump, both of Dexter; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Pullum.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Clyde Quick officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
