Vonda Marlene Maschmeyer, 77, of Dexter, was born March 9, 1927, in Stoddard County, the daughter of the late David and Bessie Cooper Bollinger, and died Nov. 5, 2004, at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She had been the secretary at Bootheel Food Bank in Sikeston. She was a member of the Church on the Rock in Sikeston.
On March 26, 1944, she and Richard Maschmeyer were united in marriage at Piggott, Ark., and he survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Gaylon Maschmeyer of Eldon and Kevin Maschmeyer of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Donna Presta of Eldon and Karen Hart of Eldon; two brothers, James Bollinger of Poplar Bluff and Namen Bollinger of Crocker; three sisters, Lois Limbaugh of Advance., Barbara Sokolowski of Advance, and Doris Bush of Bell City; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene; a brother; and two sisters.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at Church on the rock in Sikeston with Rev. Curtis True officiating.
Interment followed at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
