Arvel Dewayne Cox

Arvel Dewayne Cox of Malden was born Nov. 30, 1947, the son of Arvel E. and Rosetta Kean Cox, and died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at Southeast Missour Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was of the General Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Mike Cox of Bloomfield; one daughter, Kim Meers of Dexter; one brother, Ronnie Cox of Malden; and two sisters, Shirley Brawner of Ellisville and Peggy Cooper of Chesterfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at Landess Fuenral Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Mr. Dawsey Lee Brown officiating.

Interment followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
