Carl Ragsdel, Jr., son of the late Carl Ragsdel, Sr., and Ella Davis Ragsdel, was born Sept. 7, 1924, at White Oak and died in the Tampa General Hospital at Tampa, Fla., on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at the age of 80.

Mr. Ragsdel was of the Baptist faith, a veteran of the Merchant Marines and the United States Army serving in World War II, a member of the Cornerstone Masonic Lodge #659 in LaHabra, Fla., and a resident of Lake Placid, Fla.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Dr. Ron Wilcoxson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
