Jack Chadwell, son of the late Orlin and Alma Chadwell, was born at Dexter on Jan. 17, 1944, and died at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Peters on Nov. 16, 2004, at the age of 60.

Mr. Chadwell was a 1963 graduate of Dexter High School but had been resident of St. Louis area for several years where he was employed at McDonnell Aircraft.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Chadwell, of the home in St. Peters; two sons, Jeffrey Chadwell of Van Buren and John Chadwell of Winona; four brothers, James and Lige Chadwell, both of Dexter, L.B. Chadwell of Kennett, and Charles Chadwell of Hot Springs, Ark.; four sisters, Nadine Whitson of Dexter, Mary Strickland of Ackerman, Miss., Maxine Duley of Bloomfield, and Patricia Humphreys of California; and four grandsons.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles.
