Ada Stacy, daughter of the late Albert Eaton and Lois Wilson Eaton, was born Dec. 18, 1918, at Essex and died in the Cypress Point Healthcare in Dexter on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at the age of 85.

Mrs. Stacy was of the General Baptist faith, a homemaker and a resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Raymond Edward "Speck" Stacy on Dec. 24, 1933, at Charleston. Mr. Stacy preceded her in death on March 4, 1997.

Survivors include one son, Charles Stacy of Dexter; one daughter, Delois Danback of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Billy Gene Eaton of Blytheville, Ark.; one sister, Virginia James of Dexter; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Eaton; and one sister, Evelyn Triplett.

Visitation was held from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating.

Interment followed in the Dexter Cemetery.
