He was a retired farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
On Dec. 25, 1939, he and Virginia Wealand were united in marriage at Bell City, and she preceded him in death in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Richard Dunlap of Bolivar; a daughter, Barbara Reynolds of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, John Dunlap of Idaho and Delmar Haven of Oviedo, Fla.; three sisters, Mary Myers of Albuquerque, N.M., Ida Arams of Carrie Ville, Fla., and Dobby Sullivan of Annapolis; and four grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Brinson; three sisters; and two brothers.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with Rev. Steven Sale officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City. Military rites will be held at the cemetery.
