Amos "Buddy" Peter Eilers

Amos "Buddy" Peter Eilers, 57, of Bell City, was born Aug. 24, 1947, at St. Louis, the son of Amos and Pauline Abney Eilers, and died Dec. 5, 2004, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.

He retired as a sanitation supervisor for Hudson Foods in Bloomfield.

On Jan. 24, 1970, he and Regina Coleman were united in marriage at St. Louis, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include his mother, Pauline Eilers of Hillsboro; a son, Adam Eilers of Bloomfield; two daughters, Lois Eilers of Scott City and Amy Eilers of Bell City; two brothers, Charlie Eilers and Warren Eilers, both of Hillsboro; three sisters, Kathy Pryor of High Ridge, Mary Kite and Paulette Montgomery, both of Hillsboro; and five grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his father and two sons.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Rev. Phil Thompson officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Advance.
