She had lived in Missouri before moving to California for many years. She moved to Arkansas and returned to California two years ago. She had worked for 14 years as a nurse's aid at the St. John's Hospital in Oxnard, Calif.
On March 6, 1943, she was married to Elmer E. Clark, and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2002.
Surviving are three sons, James Clark of Michigan, Michael Clark of Washington, and Ron Clark of Arkansas; one daughter, Joyce Hodges of Ventura, Calif.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Lawson; three sisters, Lou Baird and Treva Porter, both of Michigan, and Ruth Mouser of Essex.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter.
Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
