The bride graduated from Bernie High School in 2001. She is currently a senior at Truman State University at Kirksville majoring in English.
The bridegroom is currently a senior at Truman State University at Kirksville majoring in English.
The minister was Dr. Neal Buffaloe, grandfather of the bridegroom.
Gabe Deutsch, a senior at SEMO University, friend of the couple, and a classical guitarist, provided the wedding music.
Ferns topped pillars behind the wedding party. A fountain was in the middle of the courtyard, and white tents shaded the guests.
The bride wore a rose printed satin sculptured strapless dress with asymmetrical front drape on a soft A-line gown.
The maid of honor was Holly Paddock of Columbia, sister of the bride.
The second attendant was Shauna Davis of Malden. They wore tea length, V-shaped halter neckline dresses with bias empire bands in sage green.
The bridegroom wore a three-button charcoal suit. Lucas Buffaloe and Joseph Buffaloe, brothers of the bridegroom, were his groomsmen, and they wore grey suits with alstroemeria boutonnieres.
The mother of the bride wore a floor-length gray dress with printed overlay. The mother of the bridegroom wore a two-piece lavender handkerchief hem silk dress. They both had wrist corsages of alstroemeria.
Dinner was served at the Best Western Ballroom.
Norman Swafford of Bernie was the wedding photographer.
After a wedding trip to New Orleans for a five-day cruise along the Mexico coast, the couple resides at 202 E. Jefferson, Apt. 201, in Kirksville.
