Anna Louise Langley

Anna Louise Langley, daughter of the late E.L. Williamson and Mabel Elizabeth Sitton Williamson, was born Sept. 25, 1919, in Essex and died at the Cypress Point Healthcare in Dexter on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, at the age of 85.

Mrs. Langley was a member of the United Methodist Church in Essex, a housewife, and a lifelong resident of Essex.

She was united in marriage to R.G. Langley on Oct. 1, 1938, in Wickliffe, Ky. Mr. Langley survives of the home in Essex.

Besides her husband, other survivors include one daughter, Jane Blair of Essex; three sisters, Pauline Pruitt and Helen Barker, both of Dexter, and Mable King of S.D.; and two grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Jo Langley and Carolyn Sue Langley; one brother, Rex Williamson; and one sister, Iris Russo.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, in the Essex Cemetery with Rev. Ernie Rogers and Rev. David Craig officiating.

Interment will follow immediately after graveside service. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.

The family has requested that mememorials be made to United Methodist Church in Essex.
