Cinda Bell Keeling Rush

Cinda Bell Keeling Rush, daughter of the late Aaron Keeling and Penelope Lay Keeling, was born Aug. 7, 1926, at New Port, Ark., and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at the age of 78.

Mrs. Rush was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ and a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Elwood Rush on Dec. 13, 1943, at Blytheville, Ark.

Survivors include her husband, Elwood Rush of Bernie; one daughter, Schree Ann Gourley of Malden; two brothers, Ulus Keeling of Arizona and Lincoln Keeling of Arkansas; two sisters, Tennie Gallion and Nellie Kimry, both of Arkansas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Steve Harold Rush; six brothers, Artie Keeling, Ottie Keeling, Thomas Keeling, Willard Keeling, Corbit Keeling and Kirby Keeling; and one sister, Elsie Wagster.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Jan. 8, 2005, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie with Stan Dauck officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
