She had been employed as a division supervisor by Emmaus Home for ten years in St. Charles.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Purtle-Frost of St. Charles, Ginger Searcy of Magnolia, Texas, and Peggy Hall of Sweetwater, Tenn.; two sisters, Susie Jenkins of Summerville, Tenn., and Frances Bohannan of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Stewart; and one sister, Trudy Gossett.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2005, at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2005, at Baue Funeral & Memorial Center Chapel, 3950 West Clay St., St. Charles.
Interment will follow at Armstead-Dowdy Cemetery in Dexter.
