Mr. Haney was a member of the Bridge Church of Christ, a former heavy equipment operator for Wilson McMullin Construction Company at Sikeston, a farmer and resident of rural Dexter.
He was united in marriage to Kathryn McFall on July 12, 1948, at Benton. Mrs. Haney survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides his wife, survivors include one daughter, Brenda Collier of Dexter; two brothers, Rev. John Haney of Rockbridge, Ill., and Joe Haney of Dexter; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Cathy Ridenour and Regina Haney; and one brother, Alfred Haney.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. John Haney officiating.
Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
