On June 30, 1937, she was married to J. C. Blankenship, he preceded her in death on March 25, 1988.
Mrs. Blankenship had lived in Dexter since 1946 and moved to St. Charles nineteen months ago. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri.
She is survived by one daughter: Mildred Borders of St. Charles, Missouri, three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. in the Watkins &Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. James Black of Malden, Missouri assisting.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
