Delfis Martin "Moe" Robey

Delfis Martin "Moe" Robey, son of Ada Morlan Robey and the late Delfis H. Robey, was born at Avert, MO on Dec. 21, 1940 and passed away at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO on Feb. 17, 2005 at the age of 65 years.

Mr. Robey was a former resident of Bloomfield, but had lived in Sikeston, MO for the past several years. He was a retired farmer and truck driver and worked for several years at Hostess Bakery in St. Louis, MO.

Survivors include his mother Ada Robey of Sikeston, MO; two sons and their wives, Mike and Marchelle Robey of New Madrid, MO, and Dean and Carol Robey of Dexter, MO; one sister and brother- in -law, Frankie and Charles Sullins of Sikeston, MO; five grandchildren, Patricia Robey of Willard, MO, Heather and Kelley Robey of New Madrid, MO, and Justin and Daniel Robey of Dexter, MO; one niece, Fonda Cowgur, of Atlanta, GA, and other relatives and many friends survive to mourn his passing.

Friends may call at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005 at Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield with Bro. Ray Duffey officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery.
