Mr. Robey was a former resident of Bloomfield, but had lived in Sikeston, MO for the past several years. He was a retired farmer and truck driver and worked for several years at Hostess Bakery in St. Louis, MO.
Survivors include his mother Ada Robey of Sikeston, MO; two sons and their wives, Mike and Marchelle Robey of New Madrid, MO, and Dean and Carol Robey of Dexter, MO; one sister and brother- in -law, Frankie and Charles Sullins of Sikeston, MO; five grandchildren, Patricia Robey of Willard, MO, Heather and Kelley Robey of New Madrid, MO, and Justin and Daniel Robey of Dexter, MO; one niece, Fonda Cowgur, of Atlanta, GA, and other relatives and many friends survive to mourn his passing.
Friends may call at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005 at Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield with Bro. Ray Duffey officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery.
