Betty McBride, daughter of the late William D. Walker and Geneva Glasgow Walker was born on October 26, 1933 at Paragould, Ark., and died in the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center at Dexter on February 21, 2005 at the age of 71.
Mrs. McBride was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, a former secretary for Sides Construction at Cape Girardeau and a current resident of Dexter.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Bruce Totten, of Milwaukie, Ore.; by two brothers, Jerald Walker, of Crown Point, Ind., and Allen Walker, of Dexter; by two sisters, Sue Isaccs, of St. Louis and Carolyn Dube, of Columbia; by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 10 - 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2005. Funeral services will then be conducted at 11 a.m., in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wendy Downing officiating. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
