Bonnie Bloyce Roper, 79, of Advance, was born Aug. 4, 1925, at Advance, the son of the late Sylvia and Edna Pritchit Roper, and died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was a retired carpenter and farmer.

On July 1, 1943, he and Sue Howard were united in marriage at Bloomfield, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include four sons, Ronnie Roper of Dexter, Larry Roper of Advance, Eddie Roper of Advance and Rick Roper of Bloomfield; two daughters, Barbara Phillips and Patricia Stoker, both of Advance; a brother, Bo Roper of Bloomfield; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with Jason Myers and Kenny Brietweg officiating.

Interment will follow in Rock Point Cemetery near Advance.
