Randall L. Fincher, Sr., the son of Shirley Razer Britton and the late Milbern Fincher, was born in Dexter on Sept. 8, 1955, and died at his home in Dexter on Friday, March 4, 2005, at the age of 49.

Mr. Fincher was a resident of Dexter and the surrounding area most of his life and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Essex.

On Dec. 31, 1977, he was married to Linda Joyce Johnson in Malden.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Fincher of Dexter; two sons, Randall Lee Fincher, Jr. and Joshua Allen Fincher, both of Dexter; one daughter, Melinda Anne Roberts of Bloomfield; his mother, Shirley Britton of Dexter; two brothers, Jack Fincher of Potosi and Milbern Fincher, Jr. of Potosi; three sisters, Tracy Bijeaux of Milton, La., Loretta Dickinson of Potosi, and Sherry Horn of Dexter; and five grandchildren.

Mr. Fincher is preceded in death by two sisters, Diann Cross and Sheryl Alberson.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with Rev. Karen Oldham of Dexter and Bro. Ferris Nabors of Cape Girardeau officiating.

Interment followed in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
