Earlene Louise Ramsey

Earlene Louise Ramsey, the daughter of the late David and Cecil Miles Hendrix, was born in Parma on Jan. 25, 1924, and died at the Collierville Health & Rehabilitation Center in Collierville, Tenn., on Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at the age of 81.

She had lived in the Parma area until moving to Michigan in 1950. She was a retired hairdresser.

On Sept. 5, 1942, she was married to Miles L. Ramsey. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2002.

She is survived by two sons, David Ramsey of Bartlett, Tenn., and Dennis Ramsey of Collierville, Tenn.; two daughters, Charlotte Vermilye of Clarkston, Mich., and Sharon Griffith of Pontiac, Mich.; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon until time of service on Saturday, March 12, 2005, at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
