Louise Blunt, 86, died Sunday, March 12, 2005, at Bethesda Meadow in Ellisville.
She was born Sept. 21, 1918, in Harrisburg, Ark., daughter of the late J.W. and Bessie King Lane. She was a member of the General Baptist Church in Lilbourn.
On June 3, 1934, she married Marvin Blunt, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1981.
Survivors include five sons, Bobby Blunt of Claremore, Okla., Marion Blunt of Hernando, Miss., Larry Blunt of New Madrid, Charles Blunt of Houston, Texas, and Richard Blunt of Simi Valley, Calif.; three daughters, Maggie Riley and Linda K. Turner of St. Louis, and Verna Springs of Farmington; two sisters, Bessie Mae Wilson and Georgia Robinson of Dexter; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Leroy Blunt; and one daughter, Helen June Blunt; six brothers; and one sister.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m.. Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005, with Rev. Bill Reid, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Lilbourn, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ric Blunt, Chris Blunt, Craig Blunt, Shannon Blunt, David Blunt, Jeff Meyers, Carl Kraemer, Tim Evans, Jason Gilliam, Warren Westrup and Megan Turner.
