Mrs. Borneman had spent most of her life in the Bloomfield community and was a retired employee of Elder Manufacturing Company in Bloomfield, retiring in 1972 after 26 years of service. On Feb. 27, 1932, she was married to William Loyd Borneman, and he preceded her in death on July 12, 1965.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Janis and Harold Mayberry of Plato and Joyce and Douglas McCartha of Falcon; two grandchildren and their spouses, Susan and Sid Spector of Joplin, Bradley and Kim Mayberry of Marshfield; and four great-grandchildren, Lisa, Brady, David and Chris; and two sisters, Georgia Henry and Bertie Cook, both of Bloomfield.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Wright and Inez Henley; and two brothers, Raymond and Aymond Duffey.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2005, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2005, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery.
