Mrs. Bright had lived in the Kansas City area since 1985 where she worked at the Church of the Nazarene Headquarters until she was medically retired. She was a member of the Nazarene Church for 48 years and was a member of the Summit View Church of the Nazarene in Granview.
She was married to Donald Bright on May 20, 1957, and was later divorced.
Surviving are two daughters, Penny Shields of Parker, Colo., and Sandy Weiser of Greens Fork, Ind.; three grandchildren; four brothers, Johnnie Morgan of Tucumcari, N.M., Robert and Densil Morgan, both of Dexter, and Larry Morgan of Punta Gorda, Fla.; three sisters, Emma Hyten of Cottontown, Tenn., Arlene Taylor of Broseley, and Barbara Bailey of Fall Creek, Wis.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilburn Morgan, Earnest Morgan, Jr., Arthur Ray Morgan; and one sister, Lois Morgan Woolard.
Services were held Saturday, April 2, 2005, at the Summit View Church of the Nazarene in Grandview with interment in the Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Olathe, Kan.
