Leo Gerhart Steinbrueck, 94, died Saturday, April 16, 2005. His wife of 61 years, Aurelia Fick Steinbrueck, died April 2, 2005.

They were residents of Webster Groves.

Survivors include four sons, Leo Steinbrueck of Dexter, Richard Steinbrueck of Valrico, Fla., Roger Steinbrueck of Saranac Lake, N.Y., and Kenneth Steinbrueck of Affton; two brothers, William Steinbrueck of Wentzville and Henry Steinbrueck of Ellisville; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a son, Douglas; his parents, William C. and Martha L. Steinbrueck; a sister, Olga Hodge; a brother, Herbert; and his first wife, Esther.

Memorials may be given to Lutheran Bible Translators, Aurora, Ill., radio station, KFUO, St. Louis, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Crestwood, Mo. Funeral services and interment will be in St. Louis.
