Felix Blocker

Felix Blocker, son of the late Joe Blocker and Elizabeth Albertson Blocker, was born April 1, 1922, at Senath and died at his residence in Bernie on Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at the age of 83.

Mr. Blocker was a machine operator at the Bernie IXL for 28 years until his retirement and a member of the Bernie Church of Christ.

He was married to Inez Catherine Autry on Aug. 23, 1949, at Leachville, Ark. Mrs. Blocker preceded her husband in death on Oct. 6, 1998.

Survivors include one daughter, Becky Vincent of Bernie; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2005, with Stan Dauck officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
