Mr. Pippins had served in the U.S. Army, was a construction worker and had attended the First Pentecostal Church of Bernie.
He is survived by his mother, Verlean Marie Pippins of the home in Bernie; one son, Donald Allen Pippins of North Carolina; one daughter, Rebecca Marie Pippins of Fredericktown; three brothers, Phillip Pippins of Arnold, Gregory Pippins of Dexter, and Steven Kirk Pippins of Bernie; four sisters, Bonnie Mitchem of Ironwood, Mich., Barbara Lamar of Malden, Lisa Mahlum of Bernie, and Linda Aguilar of California; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Gary Michael Boyt and Randall Evan Pippins.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
