Michelle Lee Smith Crews was born Dec. 10, 1971, at St. Louis and died Friday, May 13, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 33.

She was the daughter of Leonard Smith of Bernie and Brenda Garner Hester of Malden. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Manuel Crews of Poplar Bluff; her mother and step-father, Brenda and Charles Hester of Malden; her father and step-mother, Leonard and Laura Smith of Bernie; her father and step-mother, Gary and Rita Robinson of Greenville; one sister, Monica Smith of Campbell; one brother, Christopher Smith of Bernie; and her grandparents, Houston and Geneva Smith of Bernie.

Visitation was held after 6 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2005, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden with Mr. Stan Dauck officiating.

Interment followed in Bernie Cemetery.
