Magdline Mary Roberts, daughter of the late Charlie and Ella Fraley Bryant, was born at Collinwood, Tenn., on Aug. 26, 1924, and died at De Paul Hospital in St. Louis on Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at the age of 80.

Mrs. Roberts was a former resident of Bloomfield but had been a resident of St. Louis the past 12 years. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield. On Nov. 30, 1944, she was married to Harold Henry Roberts, and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1989.

Survivors include two sons, James Harold Roberts of Florissant and Troy Lynn Roberts of Panama Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Martha Ann Hayman of St. Ann; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2005, at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2005, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
