Marie Emerson Hahn, daughter of Frederick Wilhelm Gottlieb "Bill" and Mary Elizabeth (Dieckmann) Reinemer, was born on November 3, 1916 at Cedar Hill and died May 23, 2005 at Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Hahn was a retired school teacher at Hillsboro Schools. She was married to John Hahn who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Viburnum Garden Club, O.E.S., Cape Rock Chapter number 60, WMU at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau;, the Cape Republican Woman club and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include four granddaughters, three step-children, Raymond Hahn, of Park Hills, Mary Rae Wolcott, of Huntington, Texas and Francine Albright, of Bayou Vista, Texas; six step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law.

Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Dietrich.

Visitation was 11 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto. The funeral followed the visitation at 1 p.m., at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
