Richard Breland

Richard M. Breland, son of Bonnie Johnson Crayne of Russellville, Ark., and the late Richard C. Breland, was born July 31, 1952, at Willow Springs and died in his residence at Dexter on Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at the age of 52.

Mr. Breland was a former employee of the Chrisman Art Gallery in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

Survivors include one son, Richard W. Breland of Dexter; one daughter, Michelle Patereau of Turlock, Calif.; his mother and step-father, Bonnie and Ernest Crayne of Russellville, Ark.; one brother, Rev. Dennis Breland of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Evelyn Kay Sparks of Russellville, Ark.; and one grandchild.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sherry Lynn Cummins.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dennis Breland officiating.
