Bonnie Christman, the daughter of the late Emmett and Ora Sager Parks, was born in Bloomfield on Nov. 29, 1926, and died at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff on June 8, 2005, at the age of 78.

Mrs. Christman had lived in the Dudley and Dexter communities most of her life.

On Oct 4, 1953, she was married to William Christman in Dexter. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1989.

Surviving are two sons, Bill Christman of Wappapello, Jim Christman of Hodgen, Okla.; two daughters, Linda McCollough of Dexter, Brenda Ross of Bloomfield; and one brother, Eugene Parks of Dexter.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Doyle Parks.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Sister Helen Kersey officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements. Condolences to the family may be sent through the Internet at www.watkinsfuneralhome.com.
