Richard D. Wells, Sr.

Richard D. Wells, Sr. of Dexter died June 16, 2005, at St. Louis University Hospital at the age of 48.

Survivors include two children, Rick Wells of Plainfield, Ill., and Matt Wells of Jerseyville, Ill.; two brothers, Denis Wells of Granite City, Ill., and Kevin Wells of Fenton; two sisters, Diana Wells of Woodriver, Ill., and Debbie Summers of Dexter; parents, Albert L. Wells, Sr. and Neoma Medlock Wells.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Leo Wells, Jr. and a sister, Ramona Sue Wells.

Private services were to be held at the family's request.

Arrangement were made with Werner-Mick Funeral Home in Pontoon Beach, Ill.
