Lucille Acre

Lucille Acre, daughter of Frank Alexander and Beadie Gulledge Alexander, was born Oct. 11, 1918, at Broseley and died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.

A homemaker, she had lived in Broseley most of her life.

On Feb. 17, 1938, she was united in marriage to Curtis Acre, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 1978.

Survivors include one son, Larry Acre of Broseley; two daughters, Sandra Black of Hillsboro and Sue Bell of Broseley; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Acre.

Visitation was held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2005, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk with Rev. James Trotter and Rev. Johnny Gipson officiating.

Interment followed at Brown Chapel Cemetery.
