Nerine Brandt, a resident of Jenks, Okla., formerly of Advance and Sikeston, was born Aug. 31, 1921, in Mt. Levi, Ark., and died Friday, June 24, 2005, at Grace Living Center in Jenks, Okla., at the age of 83. She was the daughter of Martin Hanson Lund and May Graves.

She was married to Floyd Brandt on June 9, 1951, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1971.

She had been the owner/operator of Brandt's Market. She was of the General Baptist faith.

Survivors include on son, Floyd Rayburn Brandt of Hobbs, N.M.; three daughters, Linda Thurstin of St. Charles, Judy Skaggs of St. Louis, and Bonita Martin of Jenks, Okla.; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma Smithpeters of Westland, Mich., and Ann Francis of Advance.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Luther Lund, Martin Lund, and Tom Lund; and one sister, Jean Stepp.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2005, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Rev. Robert Frandis officiating.

Interment will follow in Park Cemetery at Malden.
